Steve Parkinson has fished sport fishing venues around the world from New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Kenya, South Africa, Namibia, Portugal, Madeira, East and West Coast United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, for the past thirty years. He has been operating fishing boats in Grenada for the past fifteen years.

Rum Knuckles is a Henriques 44’ SF fly bridge Sport Fisher. Re-powered in 2018 with two new 700hp Cummins engines. It’s a purpose built fishing vessel with an unmatched reputation for sea keeping abilities, strength of build and perfectly suited to Grenadian waters. Equipped with a fully air conditioned salon with seating for ten, full sized head and shower, galley with coffee maker and ice maker. At the helm we have 16” Garmin displays, autopilot, 2KW transducer, 4 VHFs. For your safety we are also equipped with a 10man life raft, EPIRB system, life jackets, strobe lights, first aid kit and all other necessary solas safety items.

The cockpit has an unrivalled 170sqft deck area, with scopinich unlimited fighting chair, 2 insulated fish boxes, capable of holding five good size yellow fin tuna each. We’re also equipped with Rupp Tournament Outriggers and centre rigger and two Penn downriggers.

TACKLE

We use Shimano Tiagra rods and reels for Marlin and Tuna fishing, which can either be stand up or from the chair. We also have lighter spinning tackle and Avet reels for targeting Wahoo, Sail fish and Mahi. On board we use a variety of lures including Koya, Polukai, Pakula and Bonze. We also utilize local bait fish.
